Meet Charles Kelsoe
I was introduced to complimentary healthcare tools and treatments in the mid 1980's. However, it was not until early 2009 that I began to explore and learn more about complementary healthcare. This has led to some very positive changes in my life.
My first goal was to lose weight which I am happy to report has been a success (over 65 pounds so far and continuing!). I am finding that health factors such as cholesterol significantly improved. In addition, I have more energy and overall a happier person.
I use the Thieves products everyday because they are versatile and effective for many uses around the house and for our health. Uses include health, dental hygiene, first aid, and household cleaning. I especially like diffusing Thieves to help build the immune system.
During the illness and passing of my father in May of 2009 a friend helped me provide some care for him. I later learned that she was walking me through a Healing Touch method. It was out of curiosity that I decided to take a class on Healing Touch after seeing the comfort it gave my father. Much to my amazement I found out that I could "do the work" and continued to take additional Healing Touch classes. I have completed Level 4 of the curriculum and looking forward to becoming a Certified Healing Touch Practitioner.
I was introduced to Young Living Oils through the Healing Touch classes and from a friend who uses the oils in her Healing Touch practice. As I researched essential oils and how they could help me I learned that not all essential oils are equal. During this endeavor, I found that Young Living Essential Oils were among the best available. They may be applied topically, inhaled, diffused, and ingested safely as instructed on the label or through the guidance of the "Essential Oils Desk Reference." This unfortunately cannot be said about all oils that are on the market today.
By trade, I do computer IT consulting as well as remodeling. While I have been doing the IT work for over 25 years I do enjoy the remodeling work because I can see the accomplishments and how they impact the lives of the people I am working for. My remodeling work spans from simple repairs, additions, whole house remodel, to new construction.
My bookshelf contains books on many different topics including computers, remodeling, model railroading, woodworking, and complimentary healthcare techniques.
I recently completed Level 1 of Anatomy for Healers which I found to be awesome. I am finding it very rewarding to learn about our amazing body and how we can promote wellness and healing with the many complimentary modalities including Healing Touch and Essential Oils.
